Passport to Adventure

Web Design

Webflow Development

2021

Passport to Adventure is a program created by the Outdoor Rec group at Wavetronix. The focus of the program is to provide outdoor experiences to the employees of Wavetronix and their families and friends. They plan and execute a variety of outdoor trips in several activity types such as mountain biking, hiking and camping. In the past, information about trips/events sponsored by Wavetronix was shared mainly within the Wavetronix company intranet, however, this is only accessible to employees. Since a large focus of this program is to share these events with people outside of Wavetronix there needed to be an external facing site created and maintained that allowed those who are not employees access to participate in the Passport to Adventure program.

My Role
I worked on every aspect of this project from initial design concepts to final deliverables. I met with stakeholders, created initial UX wireframes, designed the user interface, prototyped the website and reviewed the prototype with stakeholders, and was the lead developer.
Project Deliverables
We were tasked with creating a website that allows Wavetronix employees and their family and friends to see the activities the Outdoor Rec team is planning. It needed to allow for users to create accounts, view upcoming events, sign up for the events in which they are interested, view their member dashboard, explain the Passport to Adventure program, and more.
